Dayne Harrison - Territory 2 - In 2010 Dayne left his job of 7 years with Roskam Robotic Systems were he worked as the Division Controls Engineer.  During his time with Roskam Dayne engineered and designed robotic systems for a wide range of industries such as printing, pharmaceutical, packaging and palletizing. Dayne graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dayne will be covering the North Alabama territory for Hilco starting September 20, 2010.
Bill Atwell - Territory 11 - Bill attended Auburn University in Montgomery, AL. While attending school Bill went to work for a large industrial controls distributor in Montgomery. Bill worked as an outside sales representative for Southern Controls in Montgomery and Birmingham for 14 years. Bill also served as an outside Sales Manager for two years. Bill has 28 years of sales experience in the industrial controls industry. Bill has experience in many areas of control including sensors, motor control, ac and dc drives, motion control,industrial computers and vision systems. During his tenure as an outside sales representative, Bill covered the OEM accounts in Alabama and the Panhandle of Florida. In July of 1998 Bill joined Hilco Inc. as a Territory Manager. Bill covers South Alabama and the Pan Handle of Florida.
Vern Hill, Jr. - President/CEO, CPMR Designation - Vern graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1981 taking a position of an inside sales engineer for an industrial automation distributor in Atlanta, GA. Later that year he accepted a sales position with Hilco, Inc. covering the state of South Carolina, Western North Carolina and Eastern Georgia. Through the years, Vern has personally covered most of the states for Hilco Inc. and has been active in many advanced educational courses. He received a designation as a CPMR (Certified Professional Manufacturers Representative) in 1995. Vern brings 38years of experience in selling automation controls in the Southeast as a Manufacturers Representative moving from Territory Manager positions to VP of Sales & Marketing and then President. In 1998 Vern Jr. became President/CEO of Hilco with a buyout from the original owner Vern Hill Sr. who maintains a position on the Board of Directors.
Leigh Barber, Corporate Office –Leigh  (Vern Hill Jr’s sister) started her employment with Hilco, Inc. in 1987 and served as the Office Manager until 1994.  Leigh took a short break to start her family, and then returned in 1999 part time.  In 2009 Leigh took on the full time responsibility of being in charge of processing our “Point of Sale Reports”.  Prior to coming to Hilco, Leigh was a Paralegal.
Marisa Owens , Corporate Office - Marisa is our newest team member at Hilco Inc. Serving as Administrative Assistant, Marisa brings over 10 years of experience in office administration. She previously worked in the financial services industry and is originally from North Carolina. Marisa graduated from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, N.C.
James Woods - Corporate Office - Inside Sales Manager - James comes to Hilco with over 21 years of supply chain and finance experience in the healthcare industry. He attended Georgia Institute of Technology where he received certification in multiple system and data architecture disciplines.  He previously worked as a software application administrator and systems analyst for a statewide healthcare system. James spent last 11 years managing a regional financial application and provided financial data mining analysis for the largest HMO in North America. Additional expertise includes a strong background in materials management, accounting and inventory/asset management. James will take on the position of Inside Sales Manager for Hilco.
Chuck Gilliam - Territory 16 - Chuck joins Hilco with over 20 years of combined industrial sales experience covering the Southeast U.S. He started with a large national industrial electronics distributor where he worked for 8 years and has since held Regional Sales Manager positions for manufacturers in the industrial sensing, safety, automation and industrial controls markets. He moved back home to Georgia in 1995 to manage the territory for Crouzet and has worked for SICK USA, Schneider Electric and PULS LP in similar capacities. His responsibilities included developing & implementing new business plans focusing on OEMS and End Users while educating & managing the channel to reach the stated sales objectives. Chuck will be covering Georgia for Hilco beginning January 2015.
Don Bickle - Territory 1- Don comes to Hilco with a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwood University and 15+ years of industrial automation experience. After working for a manufacturer of automation and mold equipment, motion/controls distributor and most recently as a Territory Manager for Turck in Michigan, he brings extensive knowledge of industrial equipment, processes and standards. Although most of his experience has targeted the automotive, pharmaceutical, agriculture, plastics and food industries, he does possess a strong background in the process industry.
Arpan Majmundar - Applications Engineer - Arpan graduated from Georgia Tech in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering.  Over the course of his professional career, Arpan has gained extensive experience developing and integrating automation solutions for a variety of clients involved in the manufacturing and utilities industries.  Arpan is looking forward to implementing his experience programming PLCs, debugging industrial hardware, developing HMI graphics, and engineering industrial network solutions to satisfy Hilco's clients' needs.  Arpan began employment with Hilco in 2012.
Lewis Stotesbury - Territory 14 - After graduating with a degree in computer science in 1985, Lewis worked as the customer service manager for a DHR in Raleigh, NC. DHR was the Manufacturers Representative for Omron Electronics. In 1988 Lewis began working as an Area Sales Manager with responsibilities for Eastern NC and Eastern VA. In 1991 Lewis went to work for a large industrial distributor called JMT covering Eastern NC. Then in February 1994, Lewis joined Powerlogic (a Manufacturers Representative of Industrial Controls and Sensors) covering Eastern NC. In 2002 Lewis came to work for Hilco, Inc. He maintains his past coverage experience by being responsible for Eastern North Carolina. Lewis has 30 years of experience in the Industrial Automation industry. Most of his experience has been involved with AC and DC drives, servo systems, PLCs, sensors, safety, vision systems, operator interfaces and industrial control products.
Tim Sliney - Territory 4 - Upon graduating from University of Missouri-Rolla with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1990 Tim successfully completed the EIT requirements and joined Magnetic Power Systems as a sales engineer. His responsibilities included sizing and specifying appropriate control systems, training the field sales force and trouble- shooting and supporting existing systems. Tim expanded his responsibilities when he became Regional Sales Manager supporting the Eastern United States and Canada. The diversity of this position included management of the independent and direct sales force, recruitment and support of distribution, targeting of large OEM and direct accounts, development and delivery of sales training and new product introduction. In the spring of 1995 Tim joined Hilco, Inc. Tim covers Charlotte, NC and the Eastern SC territory.
Keith Kennedy - Territory 6 - After Graduating from the National Institute of Technology with his Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering, Keith moved from Birmingham, AL to Charlotte NC to work for Okuma Machine as a field service engineer. After leaving Okuma, Keith joined the Allen-Bradley team for twelve years as an application engineer doing large drive system projects as well as motion control retrofits and newly designed systems. Keith then joined an Allen Bradley distributor in Augusta, GA. There Keith’s position was Regional Motion Control Product Manager. His territory responsibilities included Northeast Georgia and Middle/Eastern South Carolina. After spending six years with Englewood Electric selling and servicing motion control projects and drive systems, Keith joined the Hilco team in 2002. Keith covers the Western North Carolina, Upstate South Carolina, and Augusta, GA area.
Justin Anderson - Applications Engineer - Justin graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. From his time with JR Automation as a Controls Engineer he has experience in PLC programming and debugging, developing HMI graphics and project design. Justin is looking forward to applying his knowledge to support Hilco's customers and distributors in the Carolinas. Justin will be located in Greenville, SC.
Greg Knutson - Territory 3 - Greg joins Hilco with over 25 years of combined experience in Sales and Application Engineering. After completing the Electronics Engineering Technology Program at MSB/ITT in Minneapolis, Greg enjoyed working with Banner Engineering in Production, Research & Development, Fiber optic design, and Applications Engineering roles. He has also represented Banner, Turck, and Larco in Northern California with Engineered Sales Products. Greg continued with Banner as a Senior Applications Engineer specializing in the Semiconductor Business Group, and territory support of West Coast, Pacific NW, and Texas areas. Greg has most recently been involved in the distribution arena in Middle Tennessee after relocating to Nashville in 2009.
Doug Crowther - Territory 12 - Upon graduating from Gannon University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Doug joined General Electric as a marketing specialist responsible for the southeast market. He then moved to Chattanooga, TN as a sales application engineer for Electric Motor Sales in 1990 concentrating on industrial controls and drives. After working 8 years in the industrial distribution business, with Roden Electric being his latest employer selling Allen Bradley controls, Doug joined Hilco Inc in 1998. Doug covers Dalton, Georgia and the Chattanooga to Knoxville territory.
Alex Harlow - Applications Engineer - Alex graduated from Virginia Highlands Community College with an Associates Degree in Electrical Technology. Alex comes to Hilco from Electro-Mechanical Corp in Bristol, VA where he previously worked in Research and Development and as a member of the Operational Excellence Team. Alex brings experience programming and designing PLC systems as well as a background in Lean Manufacturing. Alex will be based in the Chattanooga, TN area
Scott Price - Territory 8 - Scott Price received a bachelor’s degree from Bluefield College. He also graduated from a Virginia Western Community College in 1983 where he completed a two-year program in Electronic Servicing. Scott brings over 30 years of automation experience working as a distributor sales person and as a rep focusing on sensors and automation controls in SW Virginia. Scott is also a licensed electrician and feels that his strong technical ability helps him provide the most cost effective and reliable solution to his customers. Scott’s success has been because of endless hours of hard work and loyalty to his customers and distributors. Scott covers Western Virginia and Far Northeast Tennessee.
Ray Tribendis - Territory 9 - A marketing graduate of Bloomsburg University, Ray has been involved with industrial automation and electronics for over 25 years. His Silicon Valley years with Belden Wire & Cable and Electronic component system sales bring a high level of customer service and component technology integration to our customers.   Ray was with Omron for 7 years servicing the Pennsylvania and New Jersey markets, implementing PLC, HMI, sensor, vision, and connectivity systems.  Prior to moving to Richmond he was a Territory Manager for a Manufacturer’s Representative marketing Banner, Turck, and PULS power supplies.  Ray is committed to exceptional customer service for our customers and distributors in Eastern Virginia. 
Bob Dodrill - Sr Application Engineer - Bob graduated from Patrick Henry Community College and worked as an electronic technician in industrial manufacturing facilities. During this time he tested for and received a Virginia Master Electrician License. Bob advanced to the position of Electrical Maintenance Manager for a supplier to the automotive industry. Bob was responsible managing the maintenance department along with the responsibility of building and installing machine control systems for the company. He later accepted a position with Schlueter Electric Inc. and worked as a project manager and systems design engineer. Bob has spent the last several years developing and installing new machine control systems for manufacturing facilities in the Central Virginia area. Bob has also taught Electricity/Electronics on the college level as an adjunct faculty over the past several years.
